If you are missing a tooth, it is important that you get it replaced and the implications are not just aesthetic.
Even if your missing teeth are causing no discomfort, gaps can cause you to subconsciously change the way you eat, speak and smile.
A Bridge is a fixed restorative treatment used to replace one or more missing teeth. They can be made from metal, porcelain or a combination of both. It consists of a false tooth – known as a ‘pontic’ which is flanked by two crowns.
Once it has been fitted the bridge does not need to be removed from the mouth each day, unlike a denture.
